The Cayman Islands are attractive to wealthy remote workers
The country has a program for remote workers called The Global Citizen Concierge Program
This visa allows you to live for up to 2 years, but it takes a relatively long period of 3-4 weeks from application to approval.
Application requirements
- Employment and / or income proof
Applicants are required to submit to a non-Cayman Islands entity a proof of employment with the company's letterhead stating their position, length of employment and annual salary. The minimum annual salary requirements for applicants are as follows: - If applying as an individual, the applicant must earn a minimum of $ 100,000 per year
- When applying with a spouse, the applicant must earn a minimum of $ 150,000 per year
- When applying with dependents, the applicant must earn a minimum of $ 180,000 per year
- Proof of legal existence of employer / company
Submit a copy of your corporate establishment or registration certificate, including website details and social media profile information - Bank documents
A notarized bank reference (bank manager's document regarding the bank's credit status, including the duration of the transaction at the bank and the average balance of the account) and a 6-month bank statement are required. - Proof of identity
Clear color copy of passport photo and information page - Police certificate issued within half a year
- Health insurance proof
You need insurance to cover 30 days after arriving in the Cayman Islands
Must be insured for the Cayman Islands within 30 days of arrival
Application fee
- $ 1,469 per year for a family of two
- $ 500 per year for each additional family member
- 7% of application fee as credit card fee

General comment
The Cayman Islands, once crowded with tax havens
It's closer to Latin America than other Caribbean countries, but it's quite demanding and obviously only deals with the wealthy.
That's why it's safe and I think it's a very good place for people who meet.
I personally think the Bahamas is better
